Hi, I’m Mark George, the owner and head groomer of Groomit.

Prior to establishing Groomit, my career had been in sales and marketing; tertiary-educated at Massey University and then spent 20 years in the building industry, successfully selling and marketing products and services.

The idea for Groomit began when I went through the process of searching for a property to call home. One thing stuck out to me immediately:

Too many properties sold were not even remotely tidy, with weeds, un-kept lawns, untrimmed hedges, garbage still visible, and buildings unwashed. Visiting these properties made lasting impressions, and I often discounted the property even before stepping inside.

This experience made me see a need for a business to prepare a home for sale; Thus, ‘Groomit’ was born. We specialise in the exterior where ‘first impressions count!’ But have now expanded into comprehensive house preparation services (Inside and out!) 

I have built a unique team that provides a total property preparation solution and other garden and landscaping services.
