Hi, I'm Mark George, the owner and head groomer of groomit.
Prior to establishing groomit, my career had been in sales and marketing; tertiary educated at Massey University, and then I spent 20 years in the Building Industry successfully selling and marketing products and services.
I left the Building Industry through redundancy, was promptly asked to take 'gardening leave', which I literally did!
During 'taking gardening leave' I was also in the process of buying property, and I was amazed at 2 things:
- How many properties that were being sold and were not even tidy; weeds, un-kept lawns, hedges untrimmed, garbage still visible, house unwashed, and
- How the look of the property made me feel about the entire house. I often discounted the property even before stepping inside.
This made me see a need for a business to prepare a home for sale; we specialise in the exterior where 'first impressions count!' Thus, 'groomit' was born.
I am part of a unique team that provides a total property preparation solution, and other garden and landscaping services. We are dedicated to provide clients with an on-time, in-budget, and overall a pleasing experience that leaves the garden and property in an ideal state for what-ever the occasion.
